1. Is the ivf treatment a last solution?
In-vitro fertilization (ivf) can help achieve pregnancy when other treatments have not worked.
2. What is the chance of being successful in the ivf process?
Success depends on woman's age and embryo quality. According to international data, age under 30 pregnancy rates are around 50% and after 40 years of age, it falls to 15-20%.
3. What is the process of ivf treatment?
The ivf process starts with a general evaluation, follicle monitoring, egg collection, processing of eggs in the laboratory environment, fertilized eggs are transferred to the mother's womb on a certain day.
4. Is there any effect of age on the ivf application?
Pregnancy rates may also decrease in elderly patients. Factors such as the number of eggs obtained after ivf treatment and low risk of advanced age may lead to failure.
5. How long does tube ivf process take?
The process lasts 9 or 12 days on average. Sometimes, with pioneer treatments, this period may be prolonged for 25 or 27 days, when the eggs are collected, the embryos are transferred after an average of 2-6 days. Approximately 11-12 days after pregnancy test results are examined. In other words, results are obtained in about 1 month after the beginning of treatment.
6. In ivf treatment is it possible to determine the gender?
The sex determination of the embryo can be done by examining the chromosomes during preimplantation genetic study. However, this is not ethical and prohibited by law, it is only a genetic requirement.
7. Is there any treatment protocol to be selected in ivf treatment?
There are various treatment protocol according to trial results, patient's age, ovarian reserve and accompanying gynecopathology. All protocols are determined by the doctor
8. Is each egg fertilized?
The eggs must be mature and structurally normal for fertilization. Embryologists can make this distinction between eggs. In addition, a healthy embryo cannot be obtained from each egg after fertilization.
9. Where you do the ivf treatment and how is the organization?
